This specific client is on a hypergrowth trajectory, having grown from ground 0 to a 6 Mil Seed in under 1 year. Their product is a cutting edge data integration platform, allowing high performance real-time data integration, revolutionizing how enterprises synchronize real-time data across systems. They boast top VC's and incredible founders.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU :

The person hired for this role will be excited about working for an early stage startup and bring a strong background to the table, which may include things like strong blue-chip company history (bonus for database company experience), a strong computer science education (bonus for top 10 engineering schools) and of course, experience at a fast growth startup company.

REQUIREMENTS :

My client is looking for candidates who bring the following to the table :

• 4 years in development and 2 years of production experience with Rust
• Knowledge of data streaming, event-driven architectures, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) or change data capture (CDC) techniques
• Strong expertise in databases, including a deep understanding of transactional databases, query optimization, and database internals.

LOCATION

The co-founders are in SF (California, US), so there is a slight preference for SF local candidates but they are open to direct-hire candidates from anywhere in the US.

SALARY

The budgeted salary for this role ranges from 150K - 200K salary, and 0.5% - 1% equity. There could be flex for the right candidate. Obviously the more equity the lower the salary, and vice versa as you can turn levers one way or the other.
