My client is looking for a Project Accountant to play a key role in managing financial operations for large-scale construction and development projects. Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate cost allocations and budget tracking for construction and development projects.
• Process and reconcile fixed asset transactions, including additions, transfers, and retirements.
• Collaborate with construction and A/P teams to manage purchase orders, invoices, and financial records.
• Perform month-end close duties, including journal entries and depreciation schedules.
• Support compliance efforts, including internal controls and preparation of financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year focused on fixed assets or project costing.
• Familiarity with construction or development industries is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems.
