High Divide Minerals is looking for a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join their team at their Dillon Montana Minerals processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating process equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring mineral processing is carried out efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain processes and packaging systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot process equipment.
- Safely operate a forklift.
- Bagging and hand palletizing 50 lb. bags and filling bulk containers.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives, including 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Visual Work Systems, and Lean principles.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prioritize job safety above all else.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Computer literacy (process control, word processing, spreadsheets).
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Forklift and or heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work in a team-oriented setting while being self-motivated.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure product quality.
