What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Service Assistant position at High Hope Care Center – Sulphur?
MON-FRI: 3PM-7PM WEEKENDS 7A-7P
JOB SUMMARY:
The Facility Services Assistant is responsible for administering the temperature and questionnaire screenings for all individuals that try to enter the facility. They will complete all required training and comply with all safety precautions according to the facility and Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. They are under the direct supervision of the Administrator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Greets all employees, visitors/guests in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
2. Administers temperature and questionnaire screenings using approved policies and procedures.
3. Will notify management of all failed screens.
4. Facilitates proper identification to individuals cleared to enter the facility.
5. Documents all necessary information and adheres to all confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
6. Ensures all individuals entering the facility are wearing a proper face covering and are adhering to
the social distancing guidelines. (Will provide a proper face covering if the individual does not have
one of their own.)
7. Ensure all deliveries are made following proper procedure
8. Will utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) issued by the facility when deemed
necessary by administration.
9. Cleans and disinfects all high touch areas and equipment used in the screening area.
10. Any other duties as assigned.
