Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit.
- Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with the dental team and patients.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for children, helping to alleviate any anxiety they may have about dental visits.
Requirements
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with children and their families.
