We are a large, family owned Cannabis seed to sale operation located in Chesaning, MI. We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our Custodial team. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Custodial team is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, manufacturing area and other areas.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green spaces, and the parking lot.
• Complete non-routine cleaning based on specified job orders.
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up.
• Handle emergency cleaning and maintenance requests.
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped.
• Perform and document routine inspections of cleanliness.
• Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs.
• Make minor adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Collaborate with the rest of the staff.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

The Experience and Skills You Bring

· Proven janitorial experience.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Willingness to work early morning or full-day shifts.

· Ability to take direction.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

· Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets.

· Integrity and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

· Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

· Able to walk and stand throughout a standard 8-hour shift.

· Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

· Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
