What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Planner position at High Life LLC?
This role will support the demand planning process for a leading E-Commerce account (1P & 3P) and our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business by developing and maintaining accurate forecasts, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional sales teams. This role is critical in ensuring that inventory levels meet account and DTC demand and avoid being out of stock to provide positive customer experience. They will utilize Vendor Central and other tools to provide insights and forecast accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting and Data Analysis:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts at the style-color-size level by month using historical data, seasonal spikes, market trends, promotional activity, and inputs from the account's sales team.
- Forecasting supply and demand requirements for pre-book buys to ensure stock availability of evergreen and new products.
- Analyze forecast accuracy, in stocks, units ordered, and account's WOC to adjust or make forecast improvements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor proper inventory levels of current products, replenishing stock as needed while preventing overstocking.
- Identify potential stockouts or excess inventory situations and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage product lifecycle through markdowns, promotions, and inventory movement.
- Assist in the analysis of inventory metrics and performance indicators.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with account's sales team and DTC site team to gather data, promotional and advertising efforts, and insights for demand planning.
- Communicate demand planning insights and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify constraints and ensure plan feasibility.
Continuous Improvement:
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the demand planning process.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices and process standardization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of demand planning and inventory management experience
- Prior vendor or seller central experience and utilizing P70, P80, and P90 forecasts
- Outstanding analytical, collaboration, logistical thinking, and data skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills
Annual salary starting at $75,000
