Bookkeeper and Board Secretary Vacancy
Bookkeeper:
Duties include: Oversees district purchasing and billing, serves as the resource to the administrator in budgeting, expenditures, and other financial matters, tracks funds received as well as expenditures (including through state and federal grant funds), prepares financial reports for the Board of Education and Illinois State Board of Education, assists auditors, manages IMRF and TRS reporting, processes employee paperwork, prepares payrolls, process state and federal tax returns, performs other tasks as the administration may assign, Knowledge of school finance/budgeting and the SDS program are preferred, but not required. 12 month position. Works directly with the Superintendent.
Secretary to the Board of Education
Duties include: Prepares financial reports monthly for the Board, presents monthly bills, posts agendas, prepares minutes, takes minutes at meetings, ensures Board members are in compliance with training, attends monthly Board meetings and special meetings as needed, performs other tasks as the Board may assign.
Competitive Salary
To be determined based upon experience and credentials. Minimum salary of $57,000.
