Position Overview
The Installation Technician at High Noble Safe Company will be responsible for delivering, installing, anchoring, and servicing safes at customer locations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, physical stamina, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate will take pride in upholding our high standards of safety, security, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safe Installation & Service - Deliver and install a range of safes (commercial and residential), ensuring correct positioning, secure anchoring, and compliance with safety and security guidelines. Perform routine and emergency servicing of safes, including basic troubleshooting, lock repair or replacement, and safe manipulation when necessary.
2. Site Preparation & Assessment - Inspect installation sites to determine the appropriate placement and anchoring methods based on floor type, load capacity, and client security requirements. Coordinate with customers or site managers to schedule installations, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations or daily routines.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to safe locks, electronic keypad malfunctions, or mechanical components.Conduct functionality tests and checks to guarantee each safe meets the highest safety and operational standards.
4. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed records of each job, including safe model details, parts used, services performed, and any additional customer requests.Communicate updates to supervisors, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project status, service calls, and any escalated issues.
5. Quality, Compliance & Security - Adhere to all relevant local and federal regulations, along with company protocols, to ensure compliance with security best practices.Follow established procedures for handling high-value equipment, including safeguarding keys, lock codes, and customer information.
6. Customer Excellence - Act as a friendly, knowledgeable representative of High Noble Safe Company, providing clear explanations of the installation or service process.Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally, upholding our commitment to outstanding service.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with basic power tools, hand tools, and relevant diagnostic or measurement equipment.
Familiarity with safe lock mechanisms (mechanical and electronic), or willingness to learn.
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and manuals.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with customers.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a growing team.
Physical Requirements
Comfortable lifting and moving heavy equipment (safes can weigh up to several hundred pounds) with the appropriate tools or assistance.
Capacity to kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods during installations.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (travel to customer sites is required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
