Electrical Project Manager - Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, construction management, and project scheduling to ensure efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of electrical project management, from planning and execution to closeout.
• Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate electrical system installations.
• Develop and manage project budgets and cost estimates using tools like Procore, PlanSwift or similar.
• Create and maintain project schedules utilizing Procore or similar project management software.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project reports detailing progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience managing electrical projects in the construction industry.
• Strong skills in project scheduling, cost estimating, and contract management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics with precision.
• Hands-on knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Procore, PlanSwift (or similar project management and estimating software).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $36.52 - $40.19 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
