Front Desk Sales Associate
HPTA is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Sales Associate to join our team. As the first point of contact for all incoming clients and prospective members, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while driving sales growth for the business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys interacting with people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Inquiries:
- Field phone calls and respond to inquiries from current members, prospective clients, and the public regarding facility services, membership options, programming, and promotions.
- Manage incoming emails, respond to queries, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Assist clients with account inquiries, membership renewals, and program details.
- Provide high-level customer service, ensuring all visitors and members feel valued and supported.
2. Sales & Membership:
- Promote memberships, retail products, and services, including special programs or promotions.
- Drive sales of new memberships, up-sell existing members on additional programs, and provide clear information on offerings.
- Process sales transactions, memberships, and bookings using the facility’s software system.
- Assist in achieving monthly sales targets by meeting goals for new memberships and renewals.
3. Payment Processing:
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately and securely.
- Process payments for memberships, programming, and any retail purchases, ensuring proper documentation and receipts are provided.
4. Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of member accounts, sales transactions, and client interactions.
- Help with facility organization, including keeping the front desk area tidy and stocked with necessary materials.
- Assist with member check-in, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other front desk associates, managers, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and a high level of service.
- Collaborate in team efforts to create a positive and upbeat environment that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales environment (experience in fitness, wellness, or hospitality is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals.
- Ability to handle high call volumes, emails, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with computer systems and payment processing (experience with CRM systems or point-of-sale software is a plus).
- A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and customer service.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
