What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Specialist position at HIGH PLAINS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER?
We are hiring full time and part time Behavioral Health Providers.
We are offering flexible hours, onsite and remote (hybrid) work site solutions.
Licensure Supervision Available!
The Behavioral Health Provider will provide behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, on-going therapy, and provide same day and crisis interventions to patients of High Plains Community Health Center (HPCHC). We practice an integrated, patient centered care model.
Qualifications - (New Graduates Encouraged to Apply)
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology is required.
- State of Colorado Behavioral Health Provider License is required (LPC, LAC, and or Candidate).
- Eligibility to bill Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers.
- Basic understanding of psychotropic medication uses and side effects in treatment of patients is required.
- Experience with using DMS-5 diagnostic criteria and methodology is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with all ages, diverse and / or underserved populations, working with individuals, groups, family, and conjoint treatment, experience with brief and / or solution focused therapy as well as basic therapy techniques such as : cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, or psychodynamic therapy is preferred.
Compensation :
Full Time Salary : $65,000.00 to $82,865.00 per year or part time hourly : $31.25 to $39.84.
