High Plains Crossing, Greeley's premier Memory Care senior living community, is looking for a line cook to work in our on-site kitchen. You will be responsible for prepping and cooking made to order meals for residents and guests. We are looking for someone to be part of a dynamic culinary team and play a critical role in helping us take our culinary program to the next level. This is a part time position working our dinner shift from 2 : 30pm - 6 : 30pm, must have weekend availability.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare all food according to the menu under the direction of the Executive Chef

Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes

Communicates frequently and professionally with other line cooks, chef, managers, and front of house team members

Adheres to all safety and sanitation standards

Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated

Qualifications :

Prior kitchen experience

Requires knowledge of special diets

Attention to detail

Ability to take direction and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Current ServSafe certification preferred

Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay :

16.00-17.00 an hour, based on experience

Requirements :

Salary : $16 - $17
