Exciting Opportunity: Crisis Recovery Specialist (Case Manager)
Location: Hays, Kansas
Salary: $28.09 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time; In-person
Schedule: 4pm-12:30am; on-call rotation

What You’ll Do:
- Mobile Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and crisis intervention services in the community or a person’s home.
- Treatment Collaboration: Work closely with treatment teams to offer feedback and adjust care strategies to meet patient needs.
- After-Hours Support: Respond to telehealth or mobile service needs as part of an on-call schedule, including after-hours shifts.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and complete training in a timely manner to ensure industry compliance.
- Transportation: Provide transportation for patients to and from necessary services.

Requirements:- (1) Have at least a BA/BS degree or be equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education;
- (2) possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to work with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or severe emotional disturbance, and the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations;
- (3) meet the specifications outlined in the CMHC licensing standards in regard to any ongoing requirements (as in completion of training requirements according to a curriculum approved by the Division of Health Care Policy); and
- (4) pass KBI, DCF Child Abuse Check, Adult Abuse Registry and motor vehicle screens.
- (5) Must demonstrate competency in the use of technology including computers, various software applications, printers, scanners, telephones, etc. Must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, to include understanding and application of technology (hardware, software, equipment and processes).
- Must be physically capable of ensuring personal safety in potentially high-pressure or crisis situations. The ability to maintain physical readiness and stamina to respond effectively to crisis calls is required. Training in safety protocols and de-escalation techniques will be provided.
