What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Certified - Health Careers Certification Instructor position at High Plains Technology Center?
Instructor position for HPTCs Health Careers Certification Program for High School and Adult Students. Position includes instruction, curriculum development and daily operation of the Health Careers Certification program. Candidates should show evidence of teaching or training experience with seasoned technical skills and experience related to multiple health technology occupations. Instructor will be responsible for daily classroom instruction and guiding the individualized career path of multiple students as well as the operation and general development of the Health Careers Certification Program. Organize and sponsor an active student organization (HOSA) in skill and leadership activities at local, district, regional, state and national levels.
Educational requirements : Preferred certification / licensure as a professional RN or LPN, or equivalent health experience. Minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent practice in a clinical setting within the past five year.
