Job Responsibilities:
We are currently hiring part-time Warehouse Assistants in High Point, NC. The ideal candidate will be available afternoons or mornings- Monday - Saturday. Part-time hours are 15-25 hours per week. - Assist with the unloading and/or checking in of material received
- Collect and dispose of recyclable materials
- Deliver merchandise
- Organize warehouses
- Safely load merchandise for delivery to various locations
- Maintain accurate records and generate work orders via computer program
- Use RF scanner to receive and ship inventory
- Assist Operating Staff as required
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license, position required to drive delivery trucks
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
- Criminal background and driving record checks and references are required
- Safe driving record as determined by management
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Knowledge of proper equipment handling including but not limited to hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Lifting, caring and pulling up to 75 pounds
- Pushing up to 300 pounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
