PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is regularly required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, noise levels do increase with student and parent traffic at peak times of the day.
MENTAL FUNCTIONS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to analyze, communicate verbally, and in writing, coordinate, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, instruct, and compute. The employee is frequently required to compare, copy, compile, and negotiate. The employee frequently disseminates information to various stakeholders, making decisions for the organization, employees, and students.
Other duties : As a community school, we regularly plan opportunities to engage with our community outside of school hours. As an employee of HPA, you are expected to participate in these opportunities once a month. All community celebrations will be on the school calendar for all of you to plan accordingly. Other duties may be assigned.
