VACANCY DESCRIPTION:
High Point Christian School (HPCS) is seeking a candidate to teach third grade at our Madison Campus. The ideal candidate will prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
High Point Christian School (HPCS) was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. HPCS offers a safe, caring and Christ-centered environment for grades K-8, as well as 3K and 4K preschool programs.
In 2019, we launched a second campus housed in Life Church to serve families in Mount Horeb and surrounding rural areas. Mount Horeb Christian School has grown into an independent school and now operates as part of our broader network, Impact Christian Schools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ follower, college graduate, certified or certifiable, who feels called of God to the teaching profession.
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification.
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACSI Certified Teacher.
- State of Wisconsin certified Teacher.
- Three to five years classroom teaching experience.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Salary – 37,000-52,000 commensurate with experience
- Position as 3rd Grade Teacher is 1.0 FTE.
