Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available and banquets are properly set up.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Receive and put away deliveries and maintain organization in coolers, freezer and dry storage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Perform regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
