We are seeking a Lead Patient Coordinator for our highly rated dental office with a friendly and dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, personable, and willing to continuously learn. Spanish proficiency is a plus but not mandatory. Relevant experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and manage phone calls efficiently
- Collaborate with the clinical team to review and approve treatment plans
- Optimize productivity by efficiently scheduling appointments for both doctors and hygienists
- Ensure all patients have a confirmed doctor and hygiene appointment prior to closing out
- Verify accuracy of insurance estimates and submitted claims
- Interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone
- Schedule and confirm appointments, educate patients on treatment plans and financial responsibilities
- Manage patient records, including data entry and billing procedures, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy
- Greet patients, provide a welcoming office experience and assist with any inquiries
- Collect payment and manage patient account information
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum
- Experience with customer service or sales
- Must be able to multitask
