Required Certifications:
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NIH Stroke Certification
Job Details:
- The position comes with a 5 Facility Float Clause, effective only during emergency situations.
- Every other weekend will be worked.
- During the contract period, you will work 75% of the holidays.
- Night shift Schedule: A block schedule from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., spanning three consecutive days.
- On-call duties every other Sunday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Key Job Requirements:
- You must provide documentation proving your residency is more than 50 miles away from the facility.
- NC DL must list an address greater than 50 miles from the facility. Note that your driver's license must match the state of your RN compact licensure. Alternate proof of residency will not be accepted.
- If using a compact license that is not NC, you will need to provide the required documentation. Note that your driver's license must match the state of your RN/LPN compact licensure. Alternate proof of residency will not be accepted. Please confirm that facilities in this association are strict on this requirement.
Schedule Information:
- The contract duration is 13 weeks.
Additional Requirements:
- AHA, ARC, or RQI certification is mandatory. Certificate of Completion is not acceptable unless renewed onsite; otherwise, a full card is required.
- Required for Cath Lab, CVICU, CVOR, ER, Float Pool, all adult ICU, IMC, Interventional Radiology, L&D, MS, MS/Tele, Mother Baby, OB/GYN, Oncology, PACU, and PCU units.
- Required for ER.
- Required for all units. Certificate of Completion is not acceptable unless renewed onsite; otherwise, a full card is required. Onsite classes are available at https://www.wakehealth.edu/Patient-and-Family-Resources/Health-and-Wellness/Life-Support-Education.
- Preferred, but not required for Sterile Processing Techs.
