What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Room Intern - Summer position at High Point Rockers?
The High Point Rockers baseball team is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Control Room Intern to join our team. The Control Room Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Game Day and Digital operations of High Point Rockers Baseball.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the preparation of digital aspects for in game and broadcast during season
· Support Director of Video and Broadcast Service with all broadcast and graphic needs.
· Make Graphics and videos
· Work Video Cameras and other broadcast equipment as needed
· Work Video Cameras and other broadcast equipment as needed
· Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a stressful environment.
· Ability to work on projects without supervision.
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
· Ability to work by oneself.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Interest in learning the inner workings of a professional sports organization.
· Basic knowledge of the game of baseball.
· Ability to work long hours.
· Previous experience in the sports industry a plus.
· Some level of secondary education recommended.
· Additional skills will be taught on site
