The David S. Congdon School of Entrepreneurship at High Point University is searching for a new colleague to teach in the Sales program. The successful candidate will have at least _10__ years of professional Sales and Sales management experience. An MBA or higher degree is required.
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses, such as Selling, Negotiations, Sales Leadership. Depending on qualifications, there will be an opportunity to add more specialized courses to the curriculum. The regular teaching load at HPU is three, four-credit-hour courses per semester on a 9-month contract with the opportunity for summer teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will have additional administrative responsibilities such as academic advising.

Essential Qualifications:

- 10 years of Professional Sales experience
- University-level teaching experience is preferred but not required
Education:
- A master’s degree in business or other relevant major with extensive professional experience (10 years) in professional Sales and Sales Leadership.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with colleagues across campus for curriculum design and delivery
- Provides mentorship and advisement for students
- Communicates teaching and researches activities through frequent and effective communication with the department chair
- Maintains a professional development program or active research
- Acts as a representative and advocate for the program, school, and the university
- Actively participates in committees within the department, school, and university in professional and governmental organizations
- Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department chair
