The Department of Management in the Phillips School of Business at High Point University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position at the rank of Professor of the Practice effective August 2025.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Include teaching undergraduate courses in Principles of Management and Organizational Behavior, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Leadership, Strategic Management, etc. Advising and mentoring undergraduate students, collaborating with faculty on curriculum and program development, service to the school and university, and scholarly research are also expected.
The candidate will work collaboratively with faculty across the Department of Management and the Phillips School of Business. The Phillips School of Business embraces a broad range of theoretical and methodological perspectives, values collaborative research, and encourages faculty to work across divisions and specializations.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and Licensure
- Candidates must possess an earned master’s and doctoral degree in business administration, or a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework closely related to business management, leadership, organizational behavior or a related field.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of business management and a minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership position.
