High Profile has partnered with our client to find a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist. This client is a dynamic organization with a global presence, employing associates and international consultants across the United States, Canada, South Africa, and 24 other countries. The Benefits Specialist will oversee the day-to-day operations of their group benefit programs and leaves of absence. This role supports employees and international consultants across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Manage the daily operations of group benefit programs, including new hire onboarding, annual enrollments, system maintenance, vendor management, and audits.
- Reconcile and process benefit invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer leaves of absence in compliance with company policies and country-specific regulations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for associates and HR business partners, providing excellent customer service and addressing benefits-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Support other total rewards functions, including compensation, recognition, and wellness initiatives, as needed.
Requirements:
- 3 years of progressive experience in HR required, global exposure highly preferred.
- 1 years in benefits administration required, global exposure preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of the leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws and regulations required. Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration preferred.
- Experience with various HR, payroll, benefits, and vendor systems required. Workday experience preferred.
- HR Generalist experience preferred.
Education/Training/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certification(s): Professional in Human Resources (aPHR/PHR), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
