What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Spanish Teacher position at High School Campus?
Primary Purpose:
Plan, implement, and manage the high school Spanish language program to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop communication skills in Spanish and gain an understanding of Hispanic cultures to function successfully in a global society.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)

Demonstrated competency in Spanish language instruction
Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of Spanish language, grammar, and culture

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction best practices

Ability to instruct students and manage classroom behavior effectively

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to integrate technology and real-world applications into lessons
