- Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Teams to develop creative instructional strategies and resources.
- Utilize research-based instructional strategies to increase student achievement.
- Employ a variety of assessment practices (formative, summative, selected response, extended written response, performance-based) to maximize student learning.
- Demonstrate a wide variety of instructional methods and practices to meet individual student needs.
- Support building extracurricular activities as a coach or sponsor.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work with students of diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
- Pursue professional growth and stay current with best practices in business education.
- Follow directives of the Career and Technical Education division head.
- State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior HS endorsement in Business Education.
- EL endorsement preferred.
- Experienced and outstanding educator, willing to teach all levels of accounting, entrepreneurship, technology, consumer education, and/or LEP courses.
- Must be able and willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Must work effectively within our Professional Learning Team model.
