- Collaborate with colleagues in course-alike groups and interdisciplinary planning teams.
- Develop and utilize creative instructional strategies and resources based on best practices.
- Employ a variety of assessment practices (formative, summative, selected response, extended written response, performance-based) to maximize student learning.
- Provide multiple and varied opportunities for students to achieve daily objectives.
- Utilize research-based instructional strategies to increase student achievement.

- State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior HS endorsement in mathematics.
- Candidates with multiple and varied endorsements in EL, science, and computer science and/or credentials to teach dual credit courses are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must be willing to teach all levels of math, including Skills and/or LEP.
- Must have outstanding training and/or experiences as an educator.
- Must have a strong background in mathematics (and if applicable, science) instruction in a standards-driven curriculum.
- Training and experience in implementing a standards-based learning environment inside a student-centered classroom is preferred.
- Must be able and willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Must work effectively within our Professional Learning Team model.
- Must be well-versed in a wide variety of assessment practices that maximize student learning.
