- Teach all levels of Spanish, from Spanish I through AP Spanish, to students with diverse academic backgrounds.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize culturally responsive teaching practices to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in job-alike groups to design, implement, and refine curriculum.
- Integrate digital curriculum and 1:1 iPad instruction effectively into the classroom.
- Utilize instructional and multimedia technologies to enhance student learning.
- Actively participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in world language education.
- Contribute to the school community by coaching or sponsoring co-curricular activities.
- Travel between Prospect High School and John Hersey High School as needed.
- Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Senior High School endorsement in Spanish.
