What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Varsity Dance Coach position at HIGH SCHOOL?
JOB SUMMARY: Promotes a fundamentally sound athletic program with emphasis on physical and skill development of the individual and to encourage a positive attitude toward fair play and sportsmanship. Assists with advising and leading the Dance Team so they function as effectively as possible to instil school spirit at athletic events.

Professional Performance Criteria
- Responsible for the directing, supervising, and training of the Dance Team.
- Responsible for the conduct of the Dance Team at practice sessions and at all contests.
- Leads and directs the Dance Team in such a way as to encourage good sportsmanship by example and leadership.
- Conducts themself before the students and community so as to instil respect and good sportsmanship.
- Assumes responsibility for an energetic public relations program for the Dance Team and their activities.
- Responsible for uniforms and supplies.
- Sees that the Dance Team carry out all their duties as set by the advisor's rules.
- Assists with spring clinic for tryouts.
- Responsible for any other duties relating to Dance Team as may be directed by the Athletic Director.
