Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing lessons, instructing students with a wide range of abilities, assessing student learning, collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction, creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment, communicating with students, parent and multiple stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, supervising students, participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally. FTE: 1.0
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for new-to-district teachers, the week prior to August 25, 2025)
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota, specific content knowledge, training or job experience required before appointment, and successful student teaching. All 3 available positions will be primarily teaching 9th Grade Earth & Space Science, with an occasional extra section of Biology or another science course. Licensure in Earth & Space Science for the 9th grade, or a Science Legacy License covering 9th grade, is required.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary and benefits package. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract 2023-2025. Salary range listed ($46,417-$98,146) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for 2024-2025 school year, the 2025-2026 collective bargaining agreement has yet to be negotiated. Full-time (1.0 FTE) certified staff benefits.
