STIPEND POSITION: High School NHS (National Honor Society) Sponsor
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
HS NHS Sponsor Responsibilities Include:
- Have knowledge in and follow the guidelines, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the Pleasant Hope School District for participation in extracurricular activities.
- Provide service to school and the community.
- Become familiar with and adhere to the NHS organization guidelines and pillars.
- Promote NHS and its purpose to students, parents, and the community.
- Participate in local or regional meetings or activities associated with NHS.
- Keep detailed records of NHS applications, committee decisions, inductees/officers, etc.
- Coordinate officer installation ceremony and awards banquet recognitions.
- Coordinate NHS special recognitions at graduation.
- Exercise proper care and handling of district equipment.
- Perform all other duties as dictated by law and/or assigned by a Supervisor or Administration.
