We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop critical reading, writing, and communication skills while fostering a love for literature and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in English Language Arts for grades 9-12.
- Develop and implement curricula aligned with state standards and school goals.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, projects, and assignments.
- Evaluate and assess student progress through various methods, including tests, essays, presentations, and participation.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Applicants must hold a current Arkansas teaching certificate. Any applicant who holds an out-of-state teaching certificate must provide documentation showing they have started reciprocity procedures as required by the Arkansas Department of Education.
Salary ranges from a minimum ($51,000) to a maximum ($73,311) - based on the 2024/25 salary schedule for a 190 day contract. Salary is based on experience. A complete salary schedule can be found on our school website.
