Grain Valley Schools is seeking a qualified, energetic, and passionate High School Speech & Debate teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Qualified candidates must possess an appropriate bachelor’s degree and certification from the state of Missouri. Sponsorship and coaching opportunities are available. Preferences will be given to those candidates with additional certifications, such as Secondary English or Art.
Grain Valley teachers are expected to provide instruction that meets the district goals, mission and benchmarks; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity level and interest of the students. All candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to their own ongoing professional growth.
