Server/Budtender

High Society Dispo & Lounge is the first cannabar in Colorado, and we’re looking for fun, upbeat, energetic people to bartend, serve, and be a part of the next evolution of the cannabis industry. We're growing quickly and looking to expand our current, amazing team! High Society is a cannabis bar, and serves THC products instead of alcohol in a one-of-a-kind environment!

We’re looking for experienced servers and bartenders for our fun team as we create a truly unique hospitality experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• High Society is all about the experience. We do our very best to make sure each and every visit to High Society is a great time - and that starts with you! Hospitality needs to be a driving force for you, or this won't be very much fun.
• Willingness to be hands-on throughout shifts to assist any in any area of the bar
• Provide hospitable customer service and ensure consistency and quality in product and experience
• Demonstrate a knowledge of cannabis and be able to make product recommendations - you'll spend a lot of time educating about things!
• Maintains a safe working environment and report any safety issues to management immediately.
• Maintains valid state Marijuana Enforcement Division industry identification.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain composure during busy times
• Ability to meet sales goals, both individually and as a team
• Passion for creating an amazing hospitality experience
• MUST be willing to work weekends and nights
• Must understand and comply with all MED and state rules and regulations
• Basic math and computer skills - Ability to use and maintain our point-of-sale system which may include scanning barcodes as well as cash handling/money counting and calculating discounts & percentages
• Problem-solving skills required

Education & Experience:

• Must be 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of serving/bartending experience. Any cannabis experience is a bonus, but if you are great at creating a fantastic customer experience, we want to talk to you.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Active MED badge from the state of Colorado

Physical Job Requirements

• Must be flexible to do different duties including regular cleaning.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift & carry heavy boxes of the product up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend and squat regularly as well as have repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and other parts of the body.
