Receptionist Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and welcoming Receptionist to join our growing company. You will greet customers and visitors when they arrive at the office and determine their reason for their visit. Other job duties include answering phones and emails, entering information into our database, organizing files, and making copies. You will also monitor the inventory of office supplies and order more when necessary. We prefer candidates who have some experience in an administrative role, but we are willing to train the right person.
Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information
- Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents
- Monitor front desk and greet all customers/visitors that come into the building
- Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
- Write checks using QuickBooks for all C.O.D. vendors
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ QuickBooks
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree
- Bilingual preferred not required.
Pay is D.O.E.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
