Dental Assistant (Entry Level)

We are seeking a motivated and eager Entry-Level Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career in the dental field. As an entry-level dental assistant, you will support our experienced Lead Dental Assistant and be involved in a variety of tasks, including room turnover, sterilization, and other essential duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead dental assistant with patient care and procedures
• Provide support with room turnover between patient appointments, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to infection control standards
• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Help maintain patient records and provide general assistance during appointments
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed, including inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

• Prior dental assistant schooling or internship; South Carolina x-ray certification
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in the dental field
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow infection control procedures and safety protocols
• Positive, patient-focused attitude and a desire to provide excellent care
