Job Summary
This Class A CDL driver position requires individuals who possess a valid Commercial Driver's License and have a minimum of 2 years of over-the-road driving experience.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and be able to work any shift on any day.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations.
- Report to logistics at specified times and maintain contact with logistics and dispatch offices as required.
- Complete driver daily logs, delivery tickets, trip reports, fuel reports, damage reports, and other necessary paperwork.
- Fulfill cargo loading and unloading responsibilities in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Current and valid Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
- Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Able to work any shift on any day, up to 11 hours per day, and 14 hours in total, while transporting material and sitting for extended periods.
- Able to hook and unhook trailers when required.
