Job Overview:
As a Virtual Reality Arcade Employee, you will facilitate immersive VR experiences for our users in a free-roaming environment. You will guide participants through various scenarios, ensure safety, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance user engagement during their VR sessions. Your role is vital to providing exceptional experiences that foster creativity, learning, and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate VR Sessions:
- Prepare and set up VR equipment and areas for user experience.
- Guide participants through VR onboarding, including equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Monitor user interactions within the VR environment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
2. Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during VR sessions.
- Maintain and update VR equipment and software as needed.
- Collaborate with the technical team to report and address persistent issues.
3. Customer Engagement:
- Provide enthusiastic and knowledgeable support to users throughout their VR experience.
- Gather feedback from participants to improve future VR sessions.
- Educate users about the capabilities of VR technology and available experiences.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines during VR sessions.
- Monitor participant movement in the free-roaming space and intervene when necessary to prevent accidents.
5. Content Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest VR developments and updates in our offerings.
- Participate in training sessions to deepen your understanding of the content and technologies used.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in VR environments, gaming, arcades, customer service, or related fields preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with VR hardware and software, troubleshooting practices, and basic computer skills & maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, move, and interact with participants in a free-roaming environment for extended periods.
