We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Landscape Supply Sales Professional to join our team and help us grow our business by building strong relationships with clients and closing deals.
As a Landscape Supply Sales Professional, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include answering phones, talking to clients, typing quotes, closing deals, and performing small administrative tasks in the office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the best service and support throughout their purchasing journey.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Assist customers in selecting landscape products and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Prepare and type quotes for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Close sales deals and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
- Perform small administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, processing orders, and managing inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical sales or retail sales environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Experience in business development and managing client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with one or all the following softwares: Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Aspire is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
