Job Description:
The Phlebotomist (Clinical Lab Tech I) will work under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or designee. Responsibilities include:
- Performing venipuncture and collecting blood samples
- Ensuring accurate patient and specimen identification
- Transporting and handling specimens according to protocol
- Processing samples per laboratory guidelines
- Completing clerical tasks associated with specimen collection and lab documentation
- Assisting with special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Certification: California State Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI)
- Availability to work night shifts and every other weekend
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
