Job Responsibilities
- Work with the team to ‘build quality in’ and prevent defects
- Work with Product Management, Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects to gain a thorough understanding of solution requirements and help form and/or clarify acceptance criteria.
- Execute automated and manual tests, design and implement automated test capabilities and perform exploratory testing.
- Work in an agile team representing the quality perspective by identifying risks, developing mitigation plans and ultimately gaining consensus on the test approach.
- Make and own the implementation of recommendations about the improvement of the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the testing activities and processes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience as Test Automation Engineer utilizing Harness and Ansible, PowerShell for scripting on Microsoft stack
- Extensive experience working with Product Management, Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects to gain a thorough understanding of solution requirements and help form and/or clarify acceptance criteria.
- Experience in building and executing automated and manual tests, design and implement automated test capabilities and perform exploratory testing.
- Extensive experience in the preparation and execution of non-functional tests, such as security vulnerability testing, performance, load and latency testing, as well as the analysis of the results.
- Experience in estimation methods, test planning, and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
