Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with Oracle and Snowflake expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Design, develop, and maintain data migration from Oracle to Snowflake and data solutions to support business operations. Ensure data accuracy, integration, and optimization across systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data migration, transformation, and reporting strategies. Troubleshoot and enhance data processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skilled in data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation of datasets from Oracle to Snowflake. (2 years required.)
- Experience in building scalable pipelines, API-based data access, and workflow automation.
- Experience with schema & data transformation Convert Oracle structures, data types, and procedures.
- Optimize application and data validation, performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
- Monitor data pipelines performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Experience with inventory management, safety stock optimization, and SKU-level inventory flow analytics is a PLUS.
REQUIRED skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degrees in engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, philosophy or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of curiosity, proactiveness, and a self-starter
- Passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to learn.
- Experience with Oracle and Snowflake systems, including data extraction, analytics, and reporting.
- Experience with medallion architecture and structure.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and machine learning.
