Extraction Lab Tech

Position Summary

We are currently seeking individuals with thin film distillation and closed-loop extraction experience to work in our Grants Pass facility. The position is responsible for assisting management with product preparation, product processing, post-processing, distillation, clean-up, data entry, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Thorough knowledge of extraction processes, post-production, and safety required.

This position is a graveyard position.

Essential Functions

• Preparing necessary tools and equipment for the infused products processes.
• Follow manufacturing processes to transition infused products batches into finished goods.
• Follow infused product scheduling plan.
• Assist Management in implementing new manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the pre-processing duties involved in cannabis distillation.
• Perform the physical batching of cannabis extracts in addition to their data entry into the inventory management system.
• Accurately enter production data into METRC, the inventory management system, and other computerized databases.
• Clean and maintain laboratory.
• Maintain par levels of materials and equipment used in the production of infused products.
• Assist with any other lab duties as required by Management.

Requirements

• Oregon driver’s license or State ID card
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass all required background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Must be approved by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission to receive a Marijuana Worker Permit
• High school diploma or equivalent, some College, preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in a cannabis processor setting, preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage projects and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• The work for this position is performed in a laboratory setting

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
