What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Lead position at Higher Level Employment Services LLC?
Reports to: Store Manager, Higher Love Corp.
Summary
The Store Lead assists the management team in the daily business operations of our retail store. General tasks include supervising employees, positively delivering internal & external customer service within the environment. Carrying out the directives given by the management team, and contributing to a positive work environment for employees while maintaining compliance with rules and regulations.
Job Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Provide strong customer service daily to include an optimistic attitude, welcoming personality, and driven work-ethic. Must be able to provide great customer service to all customers.
- Become well-educated with all products offered and be willing to continue learning as the industry expands.
- Complete opening and closing procedures to ensure the cleanliness of the facility, as well as
ensuring all online menus are current with daily offerings and specials - Foster and maintain a positive work environment
- Effectively communicate all store needs to Store Manager (GM) and Assistant Managers (ASM)
- Meet and exceed store sales goals and standards of performance
- Assist in training and developing newly hired Budtenders
- Assist in receiving, maintaining, and monitoring inventory
- Support Marketing and promotions
- Ensure visual excellence through product placement, closing standards and cleanliness.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business
- Has initiative to take on tasks, set own priorities and deadlines to problem solve in the moment
- Provide the highest level of customer service to patients on-site and on the phone as well as assisting the management team in the monitoring of the staff to ensure they are doing the same.
- Follow all rules and regulations to ensure we are compliant with CRA and the State of Michigan.
- Educate customers to ensure all patients are recommended the correct medication that will best help achieve their desired effects assist staff members in this as well.
- Complete tasks such as shoveling, salting, and removing any hazards from the property as needed within reason.
- Attend required meetings and help communicate appropriate and accurate information to staff
- Must lead by example in attendance, attitude, and work quality.
Job Qualifications
- Must be reliable and honest
- Must be on time for all shifts, tardiness and repeated absences for shifts is not tolerated
- Reliable transportation
- At least 1 year of Customer Service and Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and work well with others and the public as well as follow rules and regulations.
- Prior management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Must treat all coworkers and customers in a respectful and professional manner
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Willing to understand the Cannabis rules and regulations in accordance with the compliance state rules set forth by the CRA
Working Conditions
- Able to lift 20 lbs and be able to work on their feet for long shifts
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed, Flexible hours / availability, willing to cover shifts
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be and remail compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment
