As a Senior Retail Operations Manager at Higher Love Cannabis Co., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and providing leadership to a team of highly motivated retail professionals. You will assist the Store Manager in managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing workflow efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Retail Associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development to staff members.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Inventory Supervisor to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to cannabis sales, including age verification and record-keeping.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing bank deposits.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling and managing staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Support marketing and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the cannabis industry, retail, or other fast-paced industries.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, culture, and compliance requirements a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in Menominee, MI.
