Role Summary
As a Brand Activator of Higher Love, you will be responsible for bringing the brand to life through engaging experiences, events and marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to increase brand awareness, drive consumer engagement and build community connections
Primary Responsibilities
- Marketing Campaign Execution
– Execute regional marketing strategies to increase brand visibility in our Wisconsin market.
– Work with retailers, breweries, dispensaries and partners to create in-store activations.
– Assist with digital and social media campaigns by capturing live content.
- Field & Grassroots Marketing
– Organize and lead street team promotions and guerilla marketing efforts.
– Develop and nurture partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
– Monitor competitor activations and market trends to refine brand strategies.
- Promo Material & Local Advertising
– Manage distribution of promotional materials like flyers, posters and branded material in high-traffic locations.
– Work with local radio, TV stations, publications and run targeted ads.
– Negotiate pricing, ordering quantities, and lead times to ensure the best cost-effectiveness and supply chain efficiency.
- Community Engagement & Brand Representation
– Act as the face of the brand, embodying its values and messaging.
– Build relationships with staff, local influencers and community leaders.
– Gather customer feedback and insights on how to improve marketing efforts.
- Event Planning & Execution
– Organize and manage on-the-ground events, such as festivals, concerts, local community events and sponsor partnerships with regional happenings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Event management experience. Hand-on experience with event planning and execution. Managing sponsorships.
- Proven experience in brand activation or marketing is highly desirable.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skill for collaborating with general public, influencers, team members and management.
- Strong network and relationship building skills.
- Local market knowledge of the Midwest. Wisconsin, Michigan & Minnesota.
- Project management skills. Ability to handle multiple campaigns, timelines and deliverables simultaneously.
