Distribution Technician

Summary

The Distribution Technician will play a vital role in supporting the procurement, quality control, and distribution functions within the cannabis industry. The responsibilities will involve working as an effective team member to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes. Attention to detail, organizational skills and diligence will contribute to the overall success of the distribution departments.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Assist in multiple aspects of the distribution center and its processes, including receiving, sorting, packaging, recording activities, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.

· Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and maintain accurate records to support procurement and distribution activities.

· Follow all applicable regulations, including compliance with licensing requirements, safety protocols, and documentation procedures in all distribution center activities.

· Participate in quality control measures, including inspections and documentation, to ensure product quality and consistency.

· Collaborate with the distribution team to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accurate product selection, packaging, and timely delivery.

· Maintain detailed records of activities, inventory levels, packaging details, and distribution processes to support compliance and reporting requirements.

· Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols in all production and distribution tasks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

· Communicate effectively with distribution team, reporting any issues or concerns promptly and collaborating to achieve department goals.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or coursework related to cannabis production, horticulture, or relevant fields is a plus.

· Prior experience in a cannabis cultivation, processing, or distribution role is preferred.

· Must be at least 21 years old.

· Must be able to pass a background check as required by the CRA.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Must treat coworkers, customers, vendors, and community members in a professional and respectful manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
