Systems Analyst

Summary

The System Analyst will be responsible for all technology-related components throughout corporate locations and reports to the System Administrator.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Maintain and support end points, Active Directory (AD), Office 365, Microsoft Office tools, and other enterprise systems throughout the company to maximize productivity and minimize system downtime.
• Administers Active Directory and manages user, system, and network security.
• Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting the local area network.
• Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting surveillance and badge access to maintain 99.99% uptime.
• Responsible for administration and troubleshooting of VOIP system.
• Configure, upgrade, and install all desktop/laptop computers, printers, scanners for all locations.
• Develop, document, and prepare departmental procedural manual and instructions for all Server/PC/software related tasks.
• Coordinate repair of all existing corporate PC-related hardware; determine hardware obsolescence and delete, as appropriate, from corporate inventory.
• Partner with operations team on technology-related communications and positioning.
• Keeps up to date with regulatory, technical, industry, as it pertains to the technology footprint throughout the organization.
• Serve as a strong leader within the central office, maintaining high standards for all team members while also providing positive guidance and support.
• Respond to and update all IT related tickets/inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date for work completed on all technology tickets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field experience of 3 yrs (Preferred)
• Must be local to Marquette, MI or willing to relocate (Required)
• Travel is required to various locations throughout the UP
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to analyze, research and resolve technical issues.
• Adheres to Information Security Policies at all times.
• High level of interpersonal skills to effectively and efficiently deal with a diverse group of employees, technicians, and vendors.
• Familiarity with cannabis industry (Preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of retail structure and operations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective time-management and prioritization skills
• Desire to accept mentoring and guidance in an effort to grow skill set

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR
• 3 years of technology related work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
