The Flexographic Press Operator in Louisville, KY, is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines
- Report safety concerns or issues to your immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping assignments
- Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents, ensuring the correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers
- Perform all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual and functional checks, and press-side quality checks
- Operate the press to produce products according to customer specifications, maintaining quality, reducing waste, and ensuring press efficiency
- Maintain consistent quality during production runs, including critical quality checks for copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion
- Ensure compliance with all quality checks and procedures outlined in the BRC standard
- Complete press make-readies efficiently and accurately
- Perform necessary equipment maintenance duties
- Clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and lubricate the press as needed
- Input material usage and time data into the GlobeTek system accurately and promptly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience as a Flexo Printing Press Operator and/or training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
